DEVIL'S LIMINAL
DEVIL'S LIMINAL is a branching slow-burn horror and yuri romance visual novel inspired by Azores folklore.

Margo Silva has done everything she can to leave behind the trailer park in Arizona where she grew up. Now all she has to do is focus on her job until she can leave for college. Her illusion of a quiet summer is shattered when a hungry ghost enters her dreams, and two mysterious girls show up in town, each claiming they can help her. Margo must contend with a demon's claim on her soul, and how to stop ghosts from this life and the past that want to take her future.

Is there any way to turn off or change the sound made when clicking any option or dialogue without turning off all other sound effects
Unfortunately right now the only option is to turn down the sound effect slider. This is a good suggestion though, so I'll try to get a fix in for this soon
There is now an option, see my other response.
Under preferences, then audio, there's now an option called "menu effect volume" that controls only the clicking UI sound. This has now been added to the PC demo, web demo, and Early Access.
It's still missing from the Android demo, but will be updated soon.Edit: The Android demo now has this option, too.
I can't even begin to describe how nourishing and amazing this game is. I have to consume it sparingly, because of the themes that remind me of aspects of my own life. It's very emotional story telling, but my goodness. It is so worth it. Thank you so much for this game! <3
That is so sweet to say, thank you so much! I'm happy to hear it resonates with you. ❤️
Hi! I really enjoyed your game! I was browsing itch.io horror games on the night shift, and this game made a fantastic companion for that. The art is really evocative, and the exploration of trauma and how it messes with memory is ouuuuuugh, very good. Also! I really enjoyed the way Bec was written, she feels very honest to what me and many of the transfemmes in my life are like. I've wishlisted it on steam! Keep at it! I'd love to see more games like this get made!
Thank you!! Night shift is a pretty good time to play haha. I'm really glad you like Bec! My wife is trans and inspired a lot of her character.
Hope you'll enjoy the full version when it's out!
I'm in love with this game <3
🥺 Appreciate you
really intrigued by the game so far!
the music is atmospheric and builds the milieu nicely
Thank you! ♥️
For fans of the genre, this must be a great title. I liked the art, but I confess that 3 hours of gameplay for a demo build made me realize that I'm just a casual player of the genre. Still, I see dedication and a lot of love for game production.
Thanks for playing and sharing your video! I think it's fair to say I ended up making a bit of a niche game. 😅
Ughh i really want to play it but I dont want to get hooked on something I wont see the end of😔😔
It will be finished! It's just taking a while 😅
Looking forward to this game's release :)
Im excited for this
really enjoyed playing the demo, thank you! all the ritual scenes, the last dream and interactions with margo's mother always gave me chills... anyways, bec's line is so warm and comfy!! thank you and looking forward to the full game!
I really appreciate your comment! Happy to hear you liked Bec's route! 🖤
Really intrigued by the demo and looking forward to the full game! :D
(Haha and crossing my fingers the full game will have a walkthrough)
Thank you! 😁 Definitely will have a walkthrough for the full game.
Looking forward to next up
❤ Thank you!
